Whats Malic Acid doing in my Multi-Gold™?

For extra energy! Malic acid is synthesized in the body through the citric acid (Kreb’s) cycle. While a magnesium deficiency in fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndromes may play a role in decreased energy and increased muscle pain, what if malic acid was deficient as well? Without malic acid’s involvement in the malate-aspartate portion of the cycle, NADH cannot be produced. Each NADH yields 3 ATPs, the energy “cookies” of the body. In human studies, when there is an increased demand for ATP, there is also an increased use of malic acid. Maintaining adequate stores of malic acid will thus result in energy (ATP) being available as needed.

When I take Fibro-Care™ or Fibro-Care Cal™, do I need Multi-Gold™?

Yes. We designed a special program called Get With the Program™ (GWTP) to show the role of each supplement and how they act as a team. Why don’t you make a one-a-day vitamin?
