TyH 2021 CatalogHere's looking at your new Healthy Savings!
Have you received your 2021 Healthy Savings yet? Hopefully the U.S. Post Office has caught up with the holiday and extra COVID generated mail and you are looking at our new format and features.

One big note: We're introducing Tara Squires Smith as To Your Health's new Vice-President. We're thrilled she is continuing our legacy of helping people lead healthier lives and get non-drug therapies for fibromyalgia and other chronic pain conditions.

Here's a sneak preview just in case you're still waiting by the mail box for your issue!

Meet Tara Squires Smith of the TyH Family

And the story continues...

Tara Squires Smith is now To Your Health's new Vice President. Some of you have already met her by phone or in person at the store. Please make her feel as welcome as you do David, Margy and the rest of the TyH Team!

That's only one change that's happening around TyH. We're launching Signature Supplements, tending to our own TyH brand, along with continuation of Bluebird Botanical s as a CBD source. You'll notice the new banner on our Facebook page and in the January Healthy Savings catalog mailing out next week. The catalog has a new look, too, which you will really like but we don't want to tell you everything --  and spoil the happy surprise.

New changes and new faces. We're hoping for a great 2021 for all. Stay  safe and TyH well.

Birthday Resolutions

Posted by Margy on 1/13/2020 to From Margy's Desk
This is one of the first years that I did not make any resolutions on January 1st. Not that I tire of doing them, as I feel they set a vision for the coming 12 months. What is that saying by Lewis Carroll? If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there. And I certainly like to know where I am going!

I decided -- starting in 2020 -- to pen birthday resolutions instead since my birthday also falls in January (today to be exact). Although losing weight and exercising are two of the top 10 promises people make for the new year, they aren't on my list. Okay, maybe I should exercise more but everybody knows resolutions are not about "should do's" and more about what to get and give in life. My life. Your life.

Why Gluten Free Supplements & Skin Care?

Posted by Margy Squires on 8/24/2017 to Celiac

Loaves of BreadEver get questioned why you are gluten free? I get asked a lot, often accompanied by a look that suggests I am being health obsessive. For instance, when I won't eat a salad that is served with "only a few croutons" crowning the lettuce. People have no idea how I would love to eat that crouton! Unfortunately for me, it's a medical necessity to avoid gluten as I was diagnosed celiac several years ago. And I've been sleuthing out gluten ever since. What I put in my mouth and what I put on my skin makes all the difference to my health.

Plastic Water Bottles Can Make You Fat

Water BottleHydrate! One of the healthiest habits is to consume fresh, pure water throughout the day. But if you haven’t given up your convenient plastic water bottle for the sake of the earth, perhaps you may after you learn the link between plastic and your weight. It seems research from Health Canada is the first to show how the body metabolizes bisphenol-A (BPA) results in fat accumulation.

BPA is a chemical found in polycarbonate plastic. Among its many uses are plastic containers to store food and for beverages like water. But it does not stop there.
