Immune Support & More from Fungi!
Are you afraid of medicinal mushrooms?
Talk about mushrooms and some people conjure up an image of plucking strange, poisonous plants in the woods while others see a plate of edible delicacies. Thankfully, you can reap mushrooms; medicinal bounty without the worry or the work by simply picking a supplement at the store instead of in the forest! Mushrooms aren’t really plants since they lack chlorophyll and a plant structure of leaves, stem and roots. They belong to the fungus family of organisms. There are more than 10,000 kinds and several different categories, one of which is medicinal. Notable examples are reishi. , lion’s mane turkey tail, cordyceps and shitake.

While the thought of cancer is a scary one, ignoring the risk is
hazardous to your health! Best to take the wise advice of applying an
ounce of prevention as liver cancer is preventable says Dr. Xu, one of
the study authors of this latest health concern.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) raised the red flag on liver cancer in their July 2018 published review. Their report shows an alarming increase in liver cancer mortality from 2000 to 2016. Men had a 43% increase, women 40%. For men, their risk still remains higher as statistically their overall numbers are 2 to 2.5 times that of women.

it's not over until it's over...
On January 27, the Tonto Verde Resort in Arizona sponsored a Wellness Fair and invited To Your Health to exhibit, along with other wellness providers offering education on acupuncture, essential oils, massage, physical therapy, nutrition and other holistic therapies. It was fun to interact with attendees and other health professionals in the relaxing and beautiful Tonto Verde Clubhouse. Margy at the fair (right).
