TyH has a lineup of CoQ10 products known as Bio-Blends™
We call themBio-Blends™ because each ingredient adds to the bioavailability of all the ingredients. When it comes to CoQ10 -- which is required by every cell in your body – you need to be able to absorb it to take advantage of its benefits. The ingredients we add to our CoQ10 Bio-Blends™ help you do just that!
For example, one of our blends contain two specific antioxidants. While vitamin E is familiar to many, few know selenium offers protective properties too. When added to all around antioxidant CoQ10, the three team up to deliver more antioxidant protection than any one of them could do alone. Thus, you can boost CoQ10’s benefits with this dynamic blend!
Let’s look at each antioxidants individually. Vitamin E is a fat soluble antioxidant like CoQ10. As such, both protect your cells lipid barrier (or “walls”). Maintaining cell structure is one way the cell protects itself.
Harmful agents called free radicals damage cells, tissues, and organs. If enough cells are damaged, your ability to repair and stay alive is compromised. While skin may show premature aging, visible wrinkles and “sunspots”, unfortunately, not all cell damage is visible. Vitamin E’s benefit for skin, eye, heart and blood vessel health is well recognized as it works internally against the damage you cannot see.
As an antioxidant, vitamin E networks with other antioxidants to fortify your immune system from “invaders” such as viruses, bacteria environmental toxins and so on. Specialized immune cells “eat up” the bad cells (including cancer and old cells) while other immune cells neutralize or destroy unwelcome visitors in order to keep the “good” cells alive. That means your ability to protect yourself depends on your immune army which is fortified by antioxidants like vitamin E, CoQ10 and selenium.
Selenium is part of the mineral family with many functions for immunity. Specifically, selenium adds to cell protection from oxidative damage and infections, too. But selenium also contributes to glutathione, the master antioxidant to fortify overall immunity. Selenium also supports thyroid hormone metabolism, hormones that directly influence immune cells (natural killer cells, macrophages, neutrophils to name a few). These immune cells are important fighters that work 24/7 doing surveillance, combat and cleanup and need constant reinforcement. Thus, selenium is an important part of this antioxidant trio.
CoQ10 (coenzyme Q10) is famous for what it can do for your heart. CoQ10 protects oxidation of cholesterol, supports vessel health for hypertension and supplies energy to this hard working muscle. That’s only short list of its accolades. CoQ10 helps convert food into usable energy and is considered a powerful antioxidant. Because your body does make some CoQ10, there’s no daily value assigned. However, you make less as you age so supplementing is a great health advantage to reinforce immunity, slow cell damage and decrease your risk of illness and disease. Since CoQ10 is in almost every cell in your body, we think it’s a critical nutrient for cell protection. In fact, many conditions benefit from CoQ10 therapy too numerous to mention here. You can read all the articles on CoQ10 in the TyH Health Library online, though.
Of note, TyH’s CoQ10 Bio-Blend™ does deliver 100% of the recommended daily value for vitamin E and selenium. The adult RDA for vitamin E is 15 mg and selenium, 55 mcg according to the Food and Nutrition Board. Keep in mind that “normal” is not always “optimal” for health.
TyH Bio-Blends™ offer distinct benefits for immunity and overall health. Now that you know why we’ve added those extra perks to CoQ10, you’ll never take CoQ10 by itself again!
