Steve Fanto MD is a board certified in Pain Medicine as well as Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and a member of the American Academy of Pain Management in private practice in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Fanto uses physical medicine techniques to manage acute and chronic pain syndromes and incorporates a multi-team approach including massage, family counseling and naturopathy.
Rae Marie Gleason, Activist. Medical Education & Research Director for the National Fibromyalgia & Chronic Pain Association. She is also the Pres. of Rae Gleason Management & Consulting Svs. where she uses 21 plus years of fibromyalgia (FMS) and chronic pain experience to develop health programs for non-profit and for-profit entities. She’s a Public Relations representative for the Oregon FMS Foundation, head of the FMS Department of Practical Pain Management Journal and past Executive Director of the National FMS Association and National FMS Research Association.
Carol Jamison ND is a private practice Naturopathic Physician in Fountain Hills, Arizona. She is certified in BioPuncture, Acupuncture, Botanical Medicine and Holistic/Integrative Medicine. Dr. Jamison focuses on hormone balancing, thyroid, nutritional medicine and gastrointestinal disorders.
Mark Pellegrino MD is a board certified specialist in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation in private practice in North Canton, Ohio. Rehabilitation Medical Director at Alliance Community Hospital’s Center of Rehabilitation. Dr. Pellegrino has FMS and is author of several books on the subject. He is a frequent contributor to Health Points.
Sherry Sledge LMT owns Bodyworks Center for Perfect Health in Fountain Hills, Arizona, with training and certification from Drs. David Simon and Deepak Chopra. Sherry specializes in neuromuscular therapies, lymph massage, myofascial release, visceral massage, and gait and posture analysis. She and her staff educate and empower people to take control of their health. She also specializes in accident and injury clients.
Mike Smith PhD MDSc has advanced studies in biochemistry, physiology and medicine. Dr. Smith has co-authored more than 30 scientific and medical articles in journals and lectured extensively. He has designed many new diagnostic tests for clinical use. Dr. Smith became interested in nutritional supplements after reading Linus Pauling and while doing research on oxygen and carbon monoxide toxicities.
Honorary Advisor Thomas Romano MD PhD is a private practice rheumatologist in Martin’s Ferry, Ohio. His research includes studying FMS symptoms in children and men and treatments of cranial electrotherapy, biofeedback, cutaneous stimulation plus topicals for pain, and IV vitamin therapy. He is one of the authors of the 1990 American College of Rheumatology criteria for fibromyalgia and past president of the American Academy of Pain Management.
