Super man in mirrorPeople ask: Is there anything I can do to protect myself against COVID-19?

The Center for Disease Control and other leading health institutions warn that too little is known about this new virus to make strong recommendations. Besides wearing a mask, washing your hands often and keeping them away from your face -- which are well known preventative measures -- is there more?

Here's what the Linus Pauling Institute has to offer for advice in their recently published newsletter on COVID-19.

We've taken page 7 of the Special Edition 2020  and made it available to you in a PDF format. The Linus Pauling Institute (LPI) considers these supplements  as Immune Essentials: Vitamins C and D, the mineral Zinc and DHA found in Omega-3 fatty acids. The PDF will also explain in more detail why you may need "extra supplementation" during this challenging time.

Although there is no guarantee that you will not get COVID-19 when taking immune supplements, boosting your immune function is a do-able step in preventive measures. These supplements help by increasing antioxidant protection and lowering any associated inflammation. LPI also suggests that vitamins A and E, along with the B vitamins add to the "immune system foundation" which may be supplied in a healthy diet and a daily multi-vitamin-mineral.

At To Your Health, we're doing our best to stay healthy, too, so when you need supplements, we're there for you! Two of  our secret weapons are Olive Leaf Extract and ESE, potent plant anti-viral fighters. We're happy to say we are still a "COVID-19 Free" zone and plan to stay that way!
